After all the measurements are done, then the interpretation begins: Reports (graphs, tables) are prepared and are either emailed, faxed or are communicated during meetings with Farm, Pack house or Exporter management team (Production manager, marketer, technical guys, pack house manager etc)
Fruit Quality Management
this is our our main line product and knowledge for cultivars is available. We have an extensive database of long term figures and trends. Also different standards for different purposes exist and are available. All available "tools" to measure fruit quality are used from maturity measurement, mineral analysis and defect potential determination.
Weather data
Weather data interpretation for disease prediction and pest control. Hortec manages a weather station network for weather station owners and study groups. Reports regarding weather, disease and pest are emailed and rarely faxed. In some instances (for study groups) data is interpreted during meetings but mostly the data is handled by email.

Research Capacity
Research capacity relating to Fruit Quality: for instance getting to know new cultivars (referred to as "mapping"), setting up reference databases for new cultivars and storage trials for all fruit kinds.
The research ends up in a report including graphs, tables and information about your problem. In most cases this will result in problem solution, setting of a new export standard for your cultivar or setting limits for storage capabilities.
